It's been one of the most wild weekends of my life. Long story short: black light/Skins party on Friday ended up with me at a strip club and then clubbing last night (as per usual). I'm dead tired and all drama-ed out.

Not only was casting fantastic, this collection was so pleasantly surprising. Marc's A game definitely comes out in FW as opposed to SS. I worship the ground he walks on, but even I couldn't really appreciate last season. I'm glad he took it down a notch and came up with something classically elegant. I streamed the show in the morning and had a definite spring in my step for the rest of the day. I'm so sad Fashion Week is over!

You know when you see something really beautiful, so striking that it hurts? It makes your heart sit up literally, makes your heart sit just a little bit higher up in your chest, somewhere between where it's supposed to be and your throat. And it's just... caught there, making it that little bit harder to just breathe. I can honestly say that's exactly how I felt through this whole movie. Ford is amazing in his artistry, every scene was just the perfect bit off-center, and every shot was cut exactly right, the screen filled with foreground and background the absolutely perfect amount.
Everything about it was completely breathtaking, heartbreaking at parts and just... beautiful. I don't know how to describe it beyond that.
I encourage every one to try and see it if they get the chance. I know it's not wide release, but I was lucky enough to have the small indie theater in my university town show it. This movie is definitely among my favourites of all time and I know it's a bit much to hope Colin Firth will win the Oscar but I really hope he does 'cause he absolutely deserves it.

Finally an outfit post! I've just become lazy and kinda a slob lately. Being completely overworked is not doing good things for my head. I finally powered through that essay and just got it over with. Now to turn my attention to the endless list of tests and assignments in the upcoming weeks...
My friends and I went to watch Canada play USA in the gold medal game yesterday at a local pub. It was wild. I swear my heart stopped in the last forty seconds when USA got their equalizer. But of course Canada had to create a dramatic win and of course Sidney Crosby had to be the one to score our winner.
